Group Use
The use of a designated group use area in a park requires reservations. Group Use Areas can now be reserved on reservenevada.com under the park's page. Group use costs range from $25 to $400, depending on the number of people and the facility. Permits to reserve a facility for private functions during the day or for overnight group activities are available at most parks and, in addition to the group use reservation permit, entrance and camping permits will be required for individual vehicles. Please contact the park directly for more information on availability and associated fees.

Special/Commercial Use
Fees for non-commercial activities and events vary from park to park according to relevant circumstances, such as the event’s relationship to the mission of the park, public demand for the service and the impact of park staff required to oversee and administer the activity or event. Fees may be waived if the event or activity is co-sponsored by Nevada State Parks and is of significant value to the park and its mission.
To have an event or activity considered, please fill out and mail in the Special/Commercial Use Permit Application and the required non-refundable $25 processing fee, as well as any other required information, directly to the park for approval. Please submit your application 60 days prior to the activity or event. An individual park may charge a cost recovery fee for an activity or event based on its impact. All applicants are required to meet basic liability and public safety standards and may need necessary liability insurance. Applicants will be notified in writing if they are approved or denied. Please contact the park directly for further detailed information on conducting an activity or event in the park.

Please note that Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park (Sand Harbor, Spooner, Cave Rock and Van-Sickle) only accepts permit applications from October 1 to April 15.
